How can I contact you?

Where are you located?

The meeting point for our tours is Plaza Catalunya, 21 (by the Hard Rock Café).

Our office is located near Plaza Catalunya, in Carrer Montsió, 10, 08002 Barcelona (Spain).

Castlexperience is based in Rusc de Turisme, the first co-working space in Barcelona specialized in tourism.  We work side-by-side with like-minded local tour companies with the aim to provide a full experience to visitors looking to discover our city from a local’s perspective. What are your business hours?

You can contact us Monday to Sunday from 7:30 am until 11:30 pm CET. If you want to book a tour directly from our offices, you will find us at Rusc de Turisme (Carrer Montsió, 10) from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm.

How do I choose the right tour for me?

We offer several shared-group tours that combine a guided visit to Montserrat with a wine tour and tasting at Oller del Mas cellar. Below you will find a chart that summarizes the main differences amongst them:

How early should I book the tour?

Although we gladly accept last-minute reservations, booking early is recommended during peak season to avoid disappointment.

If your preferred date is blocked out in the calendar, please do reach out to us as we may be able to offer you an alternative.

 

Do you require a minimum number of people to operate a tour?

No. Our departures are guaranteed without a minimum number of participants.

 

Can my children join the tour?

Of course! People of all ages are welcome to join our tours. Children between 4 and 12 years old benefit from a discounted ticket price – see our tour pages for more details.

Children up to 3 years old may join the tour for free. However, please note that no food or beverages are included and that we do not provide child seats for the bus journeys, as they are not mandatory in accordance with the Spanish laws.

 

Are there any discounts for senior citizens / students / groups?

We offer a senior citizen discount (2 EUR off adult price). Currently we do not have any discounts for students or groups –feel check out our Facebook page for special discounts!

 

How big are the groups?

Group size is limited to 16 people per guide. Please note that transportation will be shared with other groups.

 

Do you offer tours on bank holidays?

We operate tours every day, all year round, except for the following dates:

January 1st – New Year’s Day

April 27th – Day of the Black Madonna of Montserrat

December 25th – Christmas Day

 

 

Booking a tour

How do I book a tour?

The easiest way to book is through our website – click on this link, choose your desired tour and fill in the booking form. You will be redirected to a credit / debit card payment gateway. We accept all Visa, Master Card and American Express cards.

 

I’m having problems with online booking. Are there any other booking options?

Sure! Message us or call +34 933 100 509 | +1 347 560 5796 and we will provide you with alternative booking options.

 

What are the payment options?

If you book online, you will be redirected to a credit / debit card payment gateway. We accept all Visa, Master Card and American Express cards.

We also accept PayPal and cash payments. Please contact us for more information on alternative payment methods.

 

Can I book at your office?

If you want to book a tour directly from our offices, you will find us at Rusc de Turisme (Carrer Montsió, 10) from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm.

 

 

Special requirements

Do you offer hotel / airport / cruise ship pickup service?

No, we don’t offer pick-up service in our shared-group tours. Our meeting point (Plaza Catalunya 21, by the Hard Rock Café) is located right in the city center and it’s very easy to find.

I have reduced mobility. Can I still come on tour?

We’ll do our best to welcome you on tour! It’s important that you contact us before booking so that we can discuss your options.

Please note that our coaches are not adapted for wheelchair access.

 

Can you accommodate my dietary requirements?

Yes, we cater for any sort of food allergies and special diets. Please, inform us of your specific dietary needs upon booking.

 

We are celebrating a birthday / anniversary / special occasion. Can you arrange something special during the tour?

Sure! Please contact us and we will see what we can do.

Do you accept pets on tour?

We don’t accept pets on tour, with the exception of medical dogs. If you have a medical dog, please do let us know before booking.

 

 

On the day of the tour

Where is the pick-up and drop-off point? How will I find you?

We meet at Plaza Catalunya, 21 (by the Hard Rock Café). All tours return to this location.

Look for someone holding a bright pink umbrella!

 

How early should I arrive to the meeting point?

Please, arrive 15 minutes before tour departure.

 

Will you wait for me if I am late?

Our shared-group tours depart on time to avoid delays. If you are running late, call us on +34 933 100 509 / +1 347 560 5796 so that we can discuss your options.

 

What do I need to bring to the tour?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes as there is some walking involved.

Also, check out the weather forecast the day before the tour and dress accordingly. Please note that temperatures in the countryside tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona, and therefore it may be hotter or colder than in the city depending on the time of the year.

In the summer time, we recommend bringing a hat and a bottle of water, especially if the itinerary of your tour includes Montserrat.

 

Cancellation and reschedule policy

Will my tour be cancelled if not enough people have booked?

No, we are committed to offering guaranteed departures without a minimum number of participants.

 

Will my tour be cancelled due to bad weather or any other reason?

Our tours operate rain or shine! If for any extraordinary reason we need to cancel your tour, we will do our best to inform you in advance, or else we will meet you at the departure point to discuss your options in person.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Shared-group tours

Cancellation is free (minus 5% transaction fees) if requested up to 24 hours before tour departure.

Please note that under no circumstances tours cancelled after scheduled departure time will be eligible for a refund.

 

Private tours

Cancellation is free (minus 5% transaction fees) if requested up to 48 hours before tour departure*.

Please note that under no circumstances tours cancelled after scheduled departure time will be eligible for a refund.

*Entrance fees, tickets and other non-refundable third-party services already booked and paid by Castlexperience will not be refunded.

 

What is your reschedule policy?

Shared-group tours

If requested up to 12 hours before tour departure, you may reschedule your booking to a different date free of charge subject to availability.

Reschedules requested under 12 hours before the tour, or after the tour has departed, are also subject to availability and may incur a reschedule fee.

 

Private tours

If requested up to 24 hours before tour departure, you may reschedule your booking to a different date free of charge subject to availability*.

Reschedules requested under 24 hours before the tour, or after the tour has departed, are also subject to availability and may incur a reschedule fee*.

*Entrance fees, tickets and other non-refundable third-party services already booked and paid by Castlexperience will not be refunded.
