Castlexperience ofrece salidas diarias al Monasterio de Montserrat y a las regiones vitivinícolas que rodean esta montaña y la ciudad de Barcelona. Nuestras excursiones parten del centro mismo de Barcelona, y acercamos a nuestros clientes a las culturas y gastronomías españolas y catalanas a través de un catálogo de tours siempre en grupos pequeños de hasta 18 personas y liderados por guías locales de habla inglesa.

Aunque, más que eso, Castlexperience es el conjunto de personas que lo componen. Y somos un grupo de personas extremadamente trabajadoras, comprometidas y entusiastas. Pero, por encima de todo, somos alegres, apasionados y enérgicos. Esta es nuestra personalidad y ¡así es pues la de nuestros tours! Laia Gimenez

Laia nació en Tarragona, la antigua capital del Imperio Romano en la península ibérica. Apasionada por la literatura y el aprendizaje, obtuvo licenciaturas en estudios de inglés y francés, junto con un máster en Literatura Comparada. Para profundizar en su comprensión de los estudios culturales, se mudó a Copenhague, donde cursó un máster en Desarrollo Internacional y Encuentros Culturales, viviendo allí durante dos años. Su trayectoria profesional incluye trabajo editorial en diversas editoriales en Lima y un rol de comunicación en las Naciones Unidas en Quito. Ahora de regreso en Barcelona, su personalidad extrovertida y amigable la ha llevado al dinámico entorno de Castlexperience, donde disfruta de los impresionantes paisajes de Montserrat y de los exquisitos vinos de Cataluña.

Alejandro

'm Alejandro, born in north part of Argentina, with a passion for connecting with people and exploring new cultures. Having lived in various countries, including Brazil, Australia, France, the United Kingston and Barcelona (where I've resided for the past year), I've developed a deep appreciation for the diversity of languages, traditions, and lifestyles around the world. Barcelona has stolen my heart, and I'm thrilled to now call it home.   With 15 years of experience in various fields, I've recently embarked on a new journey as a tour guide in Montserrat and Oller del Más. I'm loving every moment of it! Sharing stories, history, and culture with visitors from all over the world has allowed me to combine my passion for people, travel, and storytelling.   I'm excited to continue exploring the beauty of Catalonia and sharing it with others. When I'm not guiding tours, I enjoy soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Barcelona and discovering new hidden gems in the region.  

Jean-Pierre

With a French name and Canarian roots, Jean Pierre was born on the Venezuelan coast and raised on the island of Tenerife, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean—no wonder the sea plays such a big role in his life. Driven by his passion for languages and travel, he studied Tourism and moved to Barcelona for love. Since then, he has worked in airports and on trains, always surrounded by people from around the world. He speaks five languages, including Catalan Sign Language, because for him, words alone are sometimes not enough. He’s currently studying Linguistics, diving deep into the mysteries of human language. In his free time, you'll find him learning new languages, reading fiction, watching anime, painting, or dancing when no one's watching.  

Thais

Thaís, born in 1980 in the vibrant heart of Brazil, embodies the spirit of a true traveler and lifelong learner. Graduated in Literature, she spent most of her life as an English teacher, teacher trainer and creative mind behind language books.    Fueled by an insatiable curiosity for culture, history, art and gastronomy, she embarked on a mission to unravel the mysteries of the world. From the enchanting landscapes of Central and South America to the historic streets of London, she dreamed big and spent nearly four transformative years living and working in England.   Among diverse experiences, she discovered a new passion for various roles – from the art of cooking to working as tour guide, she embraced the multifaceted nature of life.  A lover of writing and the ocean, she found In this city, where every corner whispers stories of art, culture and unlimited possibilities the perfect canvas to channel her passion for writing. Barcelona has become not just a destination, but an inspiration to delve deeper into the art of exploring.   For her, adventure is not just a concept; It's a way of life. With each sunrise in a new city, each dive into the ocean and each encounter with the unknown, she continues to create a story of exploration and free spirit. Thaís believes that the true essence of adventure is not just in the places visited, but in the growth experienced along the way. adventure is out there!!!

Lesly

Lesly was born in Havana, Cuba — an island full of vibrant culture and deep Catalan influence. With a degree in Art History, she worked as a museum specialist and gallerist in Cuba, where she was dedicated to supporting emerging artists and promoting contemporary cultural voices. After moving to Barcelona to pursue further studies in curatorial and digital art, Lesly quickly felt at home in this historic port city that reminded her of Havana. Her connection to the Catalan culture runs even deeper — her surnames are Catalan, and she often says it feels like she has returned in search of her roots.  In Barcelona, Lesly has received several recognitions in the art field, thanks to her innovative curatorial work and her commitment to cultural storytelling. She is deeply moved by the way history and art reveal the soul of a place and its people — a passion she brings into every tour she leads. As a guide to Montserrat, Catalonia’s most iconic mountain, and the region’s remarkable wineries, Lesly offers not just facts, but stories — told with charisma, warmth, and a contagious love for history. Guests often describe her as personable, inspiring, and deeply knowledgeable.

Carla

Born in Barcelona in 2002, she has always felt a great curiosity for the world around her. Since she was a child, she showed a special talent for art: she painted pictures and immersed herself in creativity. She studied Artistic Audiovisuals, Art History, and later specialized in 2D Digital Animation. But after finishing her studies, she discovered that her true passion went beyond the visual: she wanted to meet people, cultures, landscapes, and traditions. She began traveling alone through Europe, especially Italy, doing volunteer work with people and animals, and discovering that each story helped her grow, reflect, and see life with new eyes. Traveling became a way of understanding the world and connecting with others. Her love for antiques, history, and Catalan wine, natural, traditional, and unique, led her to work in tourism, sharing her land, her roots, and the magic of Montserrat: a place that is not just geography, but home. A dreamer, full of smiles, a fighter, and with a contagious passion, she now dedicates her life to showing the best of Catalonia to the world. Her goal: to keep traveling, spreading peace, and planting love for the little things that make life great.

Lorena Rosado

Lorena nació en Madrid, de madre británica y padre andaluz. Haber crecido con dos culturas en un hogar bilingüe, además de estudiar en una escuela inglesa en Madrid, rodeada de muchos estudiantes internacionales, le ha dado una gran apreciación por los distintos idiomas, culturas y tradiciones que existen en nuestro mundo. A Lorena le gusta conectar con las personas, escuchar sus historias y aprender de los demás, su cultura y estilos de vida. Ha tenido la oportunidad de viajar y descubrir muchos países diferentes y también vivió en el extranjero durante un tiempo antes de establecerse en Barcelona. Ha trabajado en el ámbito de los idiomas y la enseñanza durante varios años. También le encantan el arte y el diseño, y actualmente disfruta compartiendo sus habilidades creativas trabajando como ilustradora freelance.

Yerai Arbona

Yerai nació en medio del océano Atlántico, en una pequeña isla volcánica llamada La Palma, en las Islas Canarias. Yerai puede presumir de un auténtico corazón volcánico, lleno de pasión y amor por la vida, pasiones que le generaron un deseo de viajar por el mundo, conocer diferentes culturas, personas y formas de vivir. Desde los 18 años Yerai ha vivido en muchos lugares diferentes como Granada, donde estudió filosofía, Tenerife, México, y también Praga, donde pasó varios años trabajando como guía turístico. Ahora ha decidido volver y encontrar sus orígenes en el mar Mediterráneo, asi que se estableció en Barcelona, de nuevo en contacto con el sol, el mar y la buena comida y el vino. Gran amante del arte, la música y la naturaleza, encuentra el equilibrio perfecto entre viajar y conocer gente nueva, mientras disfruta de los impresionantes paisajes de las montañas de Montserrat durante nuestros tours.

Vincent Lacombe

Conoce a un individuo fascinante: un francés catalán, nacido en medio de la exuberante belleza del viñedo de su abuelo. Con una herencia que presume de un 50% de sangre Cabernet, está intrínsecamente conectado con el arte de la vinificación. En un giro cómico del destino, que recuerda las aventuras de Obélix, comparte en broma que una vez cayó en un barril de vino en su juventud, posiblemente entrelazando aún más su destino con el mundo del vino. Su pasión por las maravillas naturales y el rico patrimonio histórico de su querida región es innegable. Al igual que un lugareño que siente una afinidad profunda por sus raíces, él valora las tradiciones y relatos atemporales que han dado forma a la tierra que llama hogar. Pero lo que realmente lo distingue es un magnífico bigote, una característica definitoria que refleja su singularidad y personalidad. Un hombre de campo con un toque de elegancia, luce este espléndido bigote con orgullo, como un símbolo de su identidad. En su vibrante presencia, la esencia de la vinificación, las maravillas de la naturaleza y las cautivadoras historias de la historia se entrelazan, creando un individuo extraordinario cuya trayectoria e intereses continúan inspirando a quienes lo rodean.

Montse

Montse was conceived during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and was so excited to get her life going, that she was born only seven short months later. Her full name is Montserrat, a name she shares with her mother, her grandmother and Catalonia´s most sacred mountain. She made frequent trips to its sanctuary as a child with her family. She prefers the name Montse, as it makes her feel younger! When she is not wandering around Montserrat (the mountain, eh!) or the vineyard, you will likely find her at one of Barcelona's many theatres. She is an enthusiastic fan of all dramatic arts, but most especially musicals. She loves traveling to theatres around the world to enjoy shows in a variety of languages. She tried wine for the first time the day of her First Communion, and it was love at first sip. She later worked at a family winery in the province of Girona, near the spectacular Costa Brava, where she truly began to learn all about the world of winemaking (and wine drinking!). Now she has the great fortune of traveling every day to the mountain to which she is so closely attached, and sharing Catalan history, culture and Pla del Bages wines with visitors from all around the world.

Azul

Azul was born in Buenos Aires in 1994 and has always been passionate about people, art, and stories. After spending several years traveling through Brazil, she moved to Barcelona, driven by a desire to explore different cultures and perspectives. With a background in photography and a deep sensitivity to human connection, Azul discovered that guiding allowed her to combine her love for storytelling, nature, and meaningful conversations. She fell in love with Catalan culture—its deep-rooted identity and the landscapes that hold centuries of history.For her, each tour is an opportunity to meet someone new and rediscover the world through fresh eyes.

Xavi

He was born in Barcelona, but his roots lie in Mallorca, where his family originates. This blend of backgrounds has shaped the way he relates to culture, territory, and identity — somewhere between the rhythm of the city and the calm of the island. He studied Art History and later completed a Master’s in Cultural Management, a path that reflects both his curiosity and his commitment to sharing heritage with others. Over the past seven years, he has worked in some of Barcelona’s most emblematic cultural institutions, including the Sagrada Família. These experiences have taught him how to engage diverse audiences and how to communicate complex ideas in accessible and meaningful ways. Today, he works as a guide in Montserrat, a place that fascinates him not only for its dramatic landscape and spiritual resonance, but also for the stories it holds — carved in stone, painted in chapels, and passed down through generations. Guiding here allows him to bring together everything he has learned: history, art, nature, and human connection. Alongside this, he also leads wine tastings. For him, wine is another way of reading a place — through its soil, its climate, and its traditions. In both Catalonia and Mallorca, winemaking is a deeply rooted cultural expression, and sharing it adds a sensorial layer to how he connects with people and places. He sees his work as a way of weaving together narratives — whether through a mountain trail, a Gothic sculpture, or a glass of local wine — and helping others experience culture not as something distant, but as something alive, human, and close.

Sabrina

Sabrina was born in Buenos Aires in 1992, surrounded by aromas from her family’s bakery and the warmth of long shared meals. Deeply sensitive and curious by nature, she has always found beauty in the small details — a gesture, a flavor, a story.Her passion for gastronomy and wine grew naturally, as a way to connect with others and to celebrate culture through the senses. That same passion led her to explore nature, traditions, and the stories that give meaning to a place. She first came to Barcelona just for a visit, but eight years later, she’s still here — captivated by its culture, its people, its food and, of course, its wines.   Now based in the city, Sabrina continues to follow her instinct to connect — with the land, with people, and with the essence of each experience. Whether it’s walking through ancient paths or discovering the personality of a local wine, she’s always in search of authenticity, simplicity, and emotion.

Elena

Elena was born in 1998 in Brittany. This beautiful region located in the northwest of France, well known for its cider and Celtic culture. She decided to move to England when she was 18 to improve her English spoken and it was in Guernsey where she find her interest in learning new languages and becoming more interested in the world of wine. She has always been very open to learning new cultures and discovering the world by traveling with her backpack. Independent and very sociable, she realized over the years that she needed to be surrounded by people to be able to connect, share and transmit her knowledge. She loves hiking in the mountains where she can connect with nature but she is also the first to order a glass of wine with her friends and dance salsa all night.

Mayi

Mayi was born in the colorful country of Colombia. Eating arepas and mangos she lived her childhood believing that her heart was part human and part animal, developing a deep love for nature. During her studies on Environmental engineering, she discovered her passion for acting and a big interest for architecture and art. She had an acting carrer that let her meet people from different backgrounds and had the opportunity to travel and live in other countries. With the big dream of chasing new horizons, she learned about coffee making, packed her bags an flew to Barcelona. With the urge of having more contact with people and wanting to share stories with others, today she makes montserrat the perfect stage for sharing with passion and joy the wonders of art and nature

Alfonso

With Castilian and Asturian roots, Alfonso's life has always been connected to history and art. More than 10 years ago, he decided to travel and pursue a life away from his hometown. Alfonso has lived in France, Italy, Germany, Russia, and the Czech Republic, only to return to Spain to showcase the country most important treasures. With 8 eight years of experience as a tour guide, he also holds a degree in Drama and Art History. A day with Alfonso will take you to a show exploring the history and passion for one of our most important traditions: wine.

Berta Garrell

Berta nació a finales de los años 90 en una pequeña ciudad llamada Granollers. Nacida y criada en Cataluña, siempre ha sentido pasión por la historia y las tradiciones de su país. Después de estudiar la carrera de Turismo y Hostelería en la universidad, tuvo la oportunidad de vivir en Finlandia durante un tiempo, donde descubrió su interés por viajar por el mundo y conocer nuevas culturas. A Berta le encanta la naturaleza y los deportes, y disfruta de su tiempo libre haciendo senderismo en las montañas con su perro Píxel y terminando el día con un delicioso queso y una buena copa (o copas) de vino.

Carlos Duran

Carlos creció en un hogar bilingüe español-inglés en Estados Unidos y vino a España para perfeccionar su español. Durante la estricta cuarentena de la pandemia, descubrió una nueva pasión: ¡el vino! Aprovechó la oportunidad para especializarse formalmente en vinos catalanes y enoturismo español. Ahora, está emocionado de compartir no solo sus conocimientos, sino también el rico patrimonio cultural y espiritual de Montserrat.

Toni Marco

Toni nació en 1994 en el seno de una familia local de Alella, pueblo medieval y vinícola por excelencia situado cerca del Mediterráneo y de la ciudad de Barcelona. Fue allí donde, rodeado de viñedos y masías, nació su pasión por la historia y la geografía; elementos que más tarde le llevarían a viajar por el mundo. Tras dichos viajes, intercalados con estudios de lenguas e historia, decidió establecerse en su pueblo natal y dedicarse a la rama de la hostelería trabajando en un restaurante tradicional produciendo cerveza, y por supuesto, sirviendo vino. No obstante, al descubrir el dinámico mundo del servicio turístico sintió que era el momento del cambio. Por fin había encontrado un sector dónde podía disfrutar de todas sus pasiones de forma combinada: la historia, el vino y sobre todo el trato con gente de todo el mundo.

Iván Guzmán

Iván Guzmán es un guía turístico sensible y experto, nacido en Caracas, Venezuela en 1990 y graduado como arquitecto. En su carrera multidisciplinar, Iván se enfoca principalmente en la pintura y la escultura. Hace 5 años, Iván llegó a Barcelona para estudiar un Máster en Arquitectura, pero su amor por el arte y la naturaleza lo llevó por un camino diferente. Su pasión por la arquitectura, la naturaleza y la belleza lo ha llevado a adquirir una amplia experiencia en Montserrat y en los tours de vino de Castlexperience, proporcionando a los visitantes una experiencia muy completa y enriquecedora.

Judit Homedes

Judit nació en 1995 en una pequeña ciudad en el sur de Cataluña, entre el mar y las montañas, llamada Tortosa. Se mudó a Barcelona a los 18 años para estudiar Traducción, ya que tenía muchas ganas de aprender nuevos idiomas y culturas. Mudarse a una nueva ciudad la inspiró, y por eso comenzó a viajar sola por el mundo tan pronto como terminó sus estudios. Países como India, Tailandia o Vietnam le abrieron los ojos a nuevos mundos y aventuras, y desde muy pronto se dio cuenta de cuánto disfrutaba conectando con personas de todas partes del mundo. Estaba fascinada con las diferentes historias, leyendas y gastronomías. Pero luego llegó el momento de volver a casa y, gracias a la industria del turismo, encontró la manera de seguir conectada con el espíritu viajero. Trabajó en museos y hoteles durante más de 5 años y finalmente regresó a Barcelona para continuar sintiéndose inspirada por la vida y seguir disfrutando y mostrando a las personas una de sus ciudades favoritas en el mundo. ¡Entusiasta, optimista, sonriente y de mente abierta, en ella encontrarás a la amiga catalana perfecta!

Joan Ramón Juncàs

Licenciado en administración y dirección de empresas. Tras un enriquecedor periplo por Londres trabajando en empresas relacionadas directa o indirectamente con el sector turístico, regresó a Barcelona, su ciudad natal, para iniciar un ilusionante proyecto: la puesta en marcha de un edificio de diez apartamentos de uso turístico, que gestiona desde entonces con muy buenos resultados. Su experiencia en la puesta en marcha y gestión del edificio, mayoritariamente ocupado por turistas, le han permitido adquirir un amplio conocimiento del sector y las necesidades de los turistas.

Bel Martínez

Desde el corazón de Montserrat, Cataluña, Bel siempre ha sido una persona curiosa, con un amor por conocer gente nueva y aprender sobre el mundo que la rodea. Creció corriendo y haciendo senderismo por los impresionantes caminos de esta montaña, convirtiéndola en su propio patio de juegos. Tiene una genuina "sed de vida," abrazando con entusiasmo todo lo que el mundo tiene para ofrecer, ya sea una copa de vino o una nueva aventura. Cuando no está guiando por los viñedos, la encontrarás escribiendo historias y guiones. Después de vivir en Francia, decidió convertirse en guía turística, dándose cuenta de que no solo le gustaba escribir historias, sino también contarlas.

Víctor

Desde el comienzo, ha logrado destacar en su equipo demostrando su versatilidad, dedicación y capacidad para crear un ambiente de trabajo relajado y ameno. Es una persona alegre y con un espíritu positivo, a quien le gusta conversar sobre actualidad e historia, tratar cualquier tema en general, hacer amigos y, sobre todo, lograr que las personas a su alrededor se sientan cómodas. Con amplia experiencia laboral en el sector turístico y comercial, ha trabajado en países como Marruecos o el Reino Unido, aunque sin lugar a dudas, Barcelona es la ciudad en la que ha encontrado el lugar perfecto para vivir.

Beatriz Mirambell

Librepensadora, mediterránea, apasionada y fascinante, encontró en Barcelona su ciudad preferida y en el turismo su rama favorita para desarrollarse. Le gustan los números, el vino, sus compañeros y hasta sus jefes. Criada en un colegio de monjas, pasa su vida entre asientos contables, balances y cepas. No ha encontrado nada que la haga más feliz que venir a trabajar a Castlexperience, donde los días se le pasan en minutos. ¡Castlexperience es su perfect match! No la sacarán de aquí ni con agua caliente.

Marta Barquet

Nacida y criada en la costa catalana, Marta comenzó a viajar por el mundo tan pronto como obtuvo su título en Periodismo. Después de pasar varios meses como voluntaria en Australia y Sudamérica, regresó a su querida Barcelona para comenzar a guiar tours con Castlexperience. Recientemente se ha unido al equipo de ventas, ¡es una empleada 360º de Castlexperience!

Nuria Fraile

Nuria nació en 1990 en la ciudad de l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, la segunda ciudad más habitada de Catalunya después de Barcelona. Siempre le han interesado las artes visuales, la literatura y el cine. Es por este motivo que se graduó en Comunicación Audiovisual. Sin embargo, tras unos años viajando y conociendo gente de diferentes rincones del mundo, se dió cuenta de que lo que realmente le entusiasmaba era trabajar con personas y tener la oportunidad de compartir, generar e intercambiar cultura y conocimiento.    Después de finalizar un máster en Gestión Cultural con especialización en mediación patrimonial, tomó la decisión de dejar su trabajo como profesora de inglés y convertirse en guía turístico. Buena conocedora de la historia local y divertida, se considera a ella misma como una especie de  'narra-historias' con la virtud adicional de saber recomendar el vino perfecto que maride con cualquier ocasión

Javier Rodríguez

Javier nació en Argentina y creció en el campo, en "La Pampa Argentina". Desde niño fue una persona muy simpática y curiosa. Estudió música, idiomas y administración de empresas. Más tarde, a los veinte años, encontró su pasión en el mundo del vino y comenzó a trabajar y aprender sobre ello. Después de muchos años viviendo en Buenos Aires, decidió dar la vuelta al mundo y vivió en lugares como Brasil, Nueva Zelanda, Australia, Italia y finalmente España, siempre trabajando en la industria del vino. Le encanta conocer gente de todo el mundo y viajar. Por supuesto, como músico, le encanta tocar y es un ferviente amante de la naturaleza. Por eso, ser guía en Castlexperience es la mezcla perfecta para todas sus pasiones: conocer gente, el vino y la música de la naturaleza.

Luis Domingo Santana Deniz

Luis nació en las soleadas Islas Canarias en el verano del '92. Creció en una casa de campo en las montañas, donde desarrolló un profundo amor por los animales y la naturaleza. Sus hobbies de infancia, como trepar árboles y explorar, lo llevaron a convertirse en guía de senderismo y escalada. Sintiendo que la isla se le quedaba pequeña, Luis buscó nuevas aventuras alrededor del mundo. Durante sus viajes, descubrió su pasión por el cine y decidió estudiar cinematografía. Finalmente, se estableció en Barcelona, atraído por su vibrante ambiente y sus impresionantes entornos naturales.
