Your day begins with our local guides bringing Barcelona’s history to life in a fun and engaging way, the perfect introduction before reaching Montserrat, Catalonia’s most mystical mountain. Once in Montserrat, one of our expert guides will share the legends and stories passed down through generations as you explore the Monastery and Basilica, set against stunning mountain views. You’ll then have some free time to make the most of the surroundings.
Your journey then continues to Oller del Mas, a family-owned castle-winery dating back to 964 AD, even older than the monastery itself! This estate opens its doors exclusively to our guests under a shared commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly wine production. Here, you’ll visit the vineyards, learn about organic winemaking, and taste three signature D.O. Pla de Bages wines. Depending on the option chosen, you'll stop at their restaurant to enjoy a full local meal before the wine tour, or you'll be served a tapas lunch together with the wine tasting.
But the highlight of your day awaits beneath the winery walls. After the main tasting, you’ll be invited to step inside the private aging cellar, where the winery’s finest wines quietly mature. Guided by an expert host, you’ll enjoy an additional tasting of three exceptional wines, including some drawn straight from their aging vessels. A rare, sensory journey into the soul of this history-rich, family-run estate.

Depending on your chosen departure:
- The 8:30 Tapas option includes a tapas lunch at the winery and the opportunity to be back in Barcelona by 4 pm.
- The 8:30 Lunch option allows for extended free time in Montserrat and a full lunch at a local restaurant.
- The 9:45 Lunch option includes a scenic ride on the Cogwheel Train and a full lunch at a local restaurant.
Whichever you choose, the day will end surrounded by vineyards, flavor, and the deep satisfaction of having discovered one of Catalonia’s most exclusive wine experiences.

- Meeting point is at the Castlexperience office, inside Barcelona Nord bus station (Estació del Nord). Carrer de Nàpols, 68, L'Eixample, 08018 Barcelona, Spain.
- Meet strictly 20 minutes before the departure time.
- Our tours depart on time to avoid delays. Please note that late shows or no shows may be rescheduled, but not refunded.
- There is a limit of 20 people per group. It is likely that there are people on your group who have not booked the VIP Experience.
- Transportation will be shared with other groups.
- Please note that we reserve the right to modify the order in which we visit the sites if considered necessary.

- If you have reduced mobility, please contact us before booking. We’ll do our best to welcome you on board!
- Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved.
- Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly. We advise bringing water, especially in the summer season.
- Infants aged 3 or less may join the tour free of charge but please note that no car seat or meals are provided.
- We cater for any dietary allergies or restrictions.
